Vienna, Austria: – Bioprocessing solutions expert enGenes Biotech is ready to unveil the first working prototype of a fully automated and integrated platform for true continuous production of recombinant proteins and plasmid DNA.

The prototype will form the subject of a presentation by its Bioprocess Scientist Florian Simon, detailing the results of his PhD doctoral research resulting from enGenes’ engagement with the ECOnti program.

Smart and stable platform

Florian’s presentation “ECOnti – Advancing integrated continuous manufacturing with microbial cells” will show how the project has succeeded in building a working platform that proves it can provide at least 30 days of fully continuous, automated microbial bioproduction that is stable, smart, and seamlessly integrated.
